EVALUATION
Research Paper (6 to 10 pages) 40%
Oral Presentation (5 to 10 minutes) 20%
Participation in Class 40%
RESEARCH PAPER OPTIONS :
1) To chose a musical style and to give a musical, social and historical description. (What? Who? How? When? For what?) ;
2) To develop one of the topics about Music and Society and to apply it to a specific case ;
3) To elaborate a questionnaire on a specific topic, to interview at least two persons and to write an article

Please, submit your paper subject (intrigue) for approbation and a short description of the methodology you will be using (how you will do your research – 2-3 lines) BEFORE March 1rst by email to : mcparent2004@yahoo.ca or on paper before the 5th class.
Send a resume of your oral presentation BEFORE March 15th if you would like to have some recommandations and get prepared for some questions I might ask you.
